Towards sustainable mobility

Mobility is a basic right. With the opening of the borders, transport has significantly increased over the last decades, putting the issue of sustainable mobility under the spotlight. Moving towards sustainable mobility requires a general societal change. All actors from citizens to the private sector and public authorities are expected to change their behaviour and to act responsibly. To this end, adequate infrastructures, funding as well as innovative technologies and transparent information are needed.

In the framework of the ongoing discussion on the Single European Transport Area, the conference will seek to find and promote solutions allowing to achieve safer and more environmentally friendly mobility.
