Chair: MEP Charles Goerens (Luxembourg, ALDE, DEVE Committee)
Born on 2 June 1952 in Luxembourg, he is Vice-Chair of the Delegation to the ACP-EU Joint Parliamentary Assembly. He is also member of the Development Committee and the Subcommittee on Human Rights.
The “Cooperation and Development” Group will notably address the following issues:
- Access to renewable energy
- Efficient use of resources
- EU sustainable development strategy
- Climate justice
- Global governance
- Revision of the Cotonou Agreement
