Internship

We have a challenging and exciting opportunity for a person interested in sustainable development issues to join us from September 2012 for a full time internship.

Your task will be twofold:

  • Assisting the European Parliament Liaison Officer

You will assist the EP Officer in organising and preparing meetings and conferences in the EP under the Intergroup.

You will attend monthly Committees in the EP as well as events outside the EP and produce reports.

You will have to prepare “Weekly press reviews” with the most important news of the week regarding all the topics of interest to the Intergroup.

  • Assisting the Fisheries Policy Officer

You will monitor the development of the main issues related to fisheries and aquaculture at the EU and international level.

You will assist the Fisheries Policy Officer in attending the main meetings related to fisheries and aquaculture and in producing reports.

Before the attendance of the meetings, you will gather the main documents to be discussed and analyse them.

The internship is unpaid; however, the intern’s expenses related to work will be reimbursed.
